Outreach to general public has been made through the following participation at events open to the general public:
Rome Maker Faire – The European Edition, October 2018, Rome, Italy – Moses MariaJoseph presented a preliminary setup of the acquisition instrument designed for inferring the stress of a subject in seating position. MakerFaire 2019 was the eleventh annual show with some 1200 makers and 150,000 people in attendance.
GTTI-MMSP 2019 Winter Meeting in Bormio, January 2019, Italy – Co-organized by GTTI (Group of Telecommunication and Information Technology) and the Italy Chapter of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. Federica Battisti and Marco Carli presented the ImmerSAFE project to the Italian scientific community of Multimedia Signal processing (70 people)
CIVIT Open House, March 2019, Tampere, Finland – Laura Ribeiro (ESR1) demonstrated a multicamera rig for light field capture and consequent visualization of captured data on a light field display. The event was attended by Students and Staff of Tampere University.
Rome Motodays, March 2019, Rome, Italy – Federica Battisti, Daniele Bibbo and Marco Carli presented the ImmerSAFE project in context of exploiting augmented reality for increasing the safety of motorcycle drivers. Attendance 18,000 bikers and industrial operators.
CIVIT Tech Day ‘Motion Deconstructed’, April 2019, Tampere, Finland – Atanas Gotchev presented ImmerSAFE activities. High-tech companies from Tampere region attended the event (120 people).
RomeCup 2019, April 2019, Rome, Italy – Marco Carli presented the ImmerSAFE project to the secondary and university students attending the competition (800 people)
Science Slam Videos, August 2019, YouTube – Short 5-10 min videos prepared by ESRs presenting some aspect of their research explained in simple terms intended as introductions of project topics to a general public. For more see Science Slams.

IVT Expo Cab Design, Controls, Ergonomics & HMI, February 2019, Cologne, Germany – Markus Wallmyr held a keynote about User Experience, Interaction Techology and Experiences making Off-highway vehicle interaction including ImmersSAFE. The event was attended by industry professionals.
International VDI Conference, HMI in Off-Highway Machines, June 2019, Berlin – Markus Wallmyr held a presentation on how user experience and Interaction Technology combine in Off-highway vehicles including the future of immersive interfaces and ImmerSAFE. The event was attended by industry professionals.
