Meet our Early Stage Researchers: Soheila Sheikh bahaei from Mälardalen University
Tell something about yourself?
My name is Soheila Sheikh bahaei. I am from Esfahan, Iran. I received my BSc in Information Technology engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. For MSc, I was accepted in Artificial Intelligence program at Kharazmi University of Tehran. I did my MSc Thesis on context-based object recognition in digital images. After graduation, I worked in a company as a software (game) developer.
Why did you apply to ImmerSAFE project?
Entering to university was for sure one of the major turning points in my life, since the academic atmosphere revealed my passion for doing research and interacting with others, and pushed me to choose a specific path in my life, continuing graduate studies and becoming an effective scholar. There are two features in this project which I really praise. First it is based on todays need and second it is in strong connection with industry.
What kind of expectations do you have for your research project and network training?
I expect various challenges because the project is multidisciplinary in international environment.
I hope that my passion for becoming an effective scholar, along with the outstanding faculty and the strong body of research in this project, enable me to have a productive academic life and be an important part of this project.
