Welcome to the ImmerSAFE Training School on “Immersive Imaging” at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Croatia, November 6th-9th, 2018!
A training school is an education event for graduate students, researchers, and professionals interested in an overview and deepened knowledge of Immersive Imaging. Its main purpose is to create an innovative training environment and provide facilities and expert lecturers. Lectures at the training school will be given by distinguished experts from the beneficiaries, the partner organizations, as well as by world-wide renowned researchers.
The training school on Immersive Imaging will cover the following topics:
- Human vision and visual cues
- Multi-sensor 3D scene capture
- Plenoptics
- Compression of immersive imagery
- Immersive displays
