Tech Days

The 1st ImmerSAFE Tech Days will take place in Tampere, Finland between 28.-31.1.2019. Welcome!

The event is hosted by the Tampere University, the Police University College and the Forum for Intelligent Machines ry (FIMA). Each day of the event takes place in different location in Tampere region.

On Monday 28.1.2019, we’ll spend the day in Tampere University Hervanta Campus (address: Korkeakoulunkatu 10, Tampere). The day starts at 9:00 in Kampusareena building (Campus map), 5th floor (meeting space: Event arena). From there, we’ll guide you to the Centre for Immersive Visual Technologies (CIVIT).

On Tuesday 29.1.2019, the crash course organised by Forum for Intelligent Machines ry (FIMA) takes place. The day will be spent in onsite visits at two companies, Kalmar and Novatron. The meeting point in the morning is at Tampere University Hervanta Campus, in front of the parking carage (address: Korkeakoulunkatu 4, Tampere. Please also see: Campus map), from where we will take a bus to the companies. Please note that part of the activities will be arranged outdoors – please dress up warmly!

On Wednesday 30.1.2019, the day will be spent at the Police University College. The meeting point in the morning is at Tampere University Hervanta Campus, in front of the parking carage (address: Korkeakoulunkatu 4, Tampere. Please also see: Campus map), from where we will walk together to the Police University College. Please note that part of the activities will be arranged outdoors – please dress up warmly!

On Thursday 31.1., the morning will be spent in Tampere University Hervanta Campus (address: Korkeakoulunkatu 10, Tampere). The day starts at 9:00 in Rakennustalo (room: RD203). After lunch, we will have a bus transportation to Helsinki (Clarion hotel). Please check out & bring your luggage with you already in the morning.

On Friday 1.2., the Mid-term check meeting will take place in Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport (address: Karhumäentie 5, Vantaa) located near the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
