Tampere
In order to allow all the students to be accommodated at the same hotel, we have pre-booked a number of individual rooms at the Hotel Hermica (http://www.hermica.fi/), located within a walking distance to the Tampere university’s Hervanta Campus. Hermica’s address is Insinöörinkatu 78, Tampere.
The rooms are available for the period January 27th – January 31 for a special rate of 90 €/day/single room including breakfast, evening sauna, parking and wifi with a booking code “ImmerSAFE”. In order to make your booking at Hotel Hermica, contact them by email (sales@hermica.fi) or by phone (+358 3365 1111). The offer expires by 14.1.2019, so make sure to book before that date.
If you prefer to stay in Tampere city center, we can offer you a discount price in Scandic Tampere Koskipuisto for a rate of 96 €/day/single room or 116€/day/double room including breakfast and wifi with a booking code “TAM270119”. The offer expires by 13.1.2019, so make sure to book before that date. Also please note that the Tampere University’s Hervanta Campus is located appr. 9km from the city centre.
Helsinki
For Thursday 31.1., please book a room at the Clarion Airport Hotel in Helsinki. The rooms are available for a special rate of 126€/day/single room or 146€/day/double room with a booking code “ImmerSAFE”. Traveling to Tampere
You can arrive to Tampere either by flying directly to Tampere airport, or flying to Helsinki-Vantaa airport and then catching a train or a bus from there to Tampere.
Since all the Early Stage Researchers are required to participate the Mid-term check meeting on Friday 2.1.2019 at the Clarion Airport Hotel in Helsinki, we strongly recommend to book flights to Helsinki instead of Tampere.
Traveling from Helsinki airport to Tampere
From Helsinki-Vantaa airport, it takes appr. 1h45min-2h15min to reach Tampere by train or 2h10min-2h35min to reach Tampere by bus.

Traveling from Tampere to Helsinki
The organiser of the event provides a bus transportation from Tampere to the Clarion Airport Hotel on Thursday afternoon directly after the training programme. Please remember to check out & bring your luggage with you already in the morning.
