Tampere <\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to allow all the students to be accommodated at the same hotel, we have pre-booked a number of individual rooms at the Hotel Hermica (http:\/\/www.hermica.fi\/<\/a>), located within a walking distance to the Tampere university’s Hervanta Campus. Hermica\u2019s address is Insin\u00f6\u00f6rinkatu 78, Tampere.<\/p>\n

The rooms are available for the period January 27th<\/sup> \u2013 January 31 for a special rate of 90 \u20ac\/day\/single room<\/strong> including breakfast, evening sauna, parking and wifi with a booking code “ImmerSAFE”<\/strong>. In order to make your booking at Hotel Hermica<\/strong>, contact them by email (sales@hermica.fi<\/a>) or by phone (+358 3365 1111). The offer expires by 14.1.2019, so make sure to book before that date.<\/p>\n

If you prefer to stay in Tampere city center, we can offer you a discount price in Scandic Tampere Koskipuisto\u00a0<\/strong>for a rate of 96 \u20ac\/day\/single room<\/strong> or 116\u20ac\/day\/double room<\/strong> including breakfast and wifi with a booking code “TAM270119”. <\/strong>If you’d like to make a booking at Scandic Tampere Koskipuisto<\/strong>, contact them by email (koskipuisto@scandichotels.com<\/a>) or by phone (+358 3 4108 1626). Helsinki<\/strong><\/p>\n

For Thursday 31.1., please book a room at the Clarion Airport Hotel in Helsinki. The rooms are available for a special rate of 126\u20ac\/day\/single room<\/strong> or 146\u20ac\/day\/double room <\/strong>with a booking code “ImmerSAFE”<\/strong>. Traveling to Tampere<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You can arrive to Tampere either by flying directly to Tampere airport, or flying to Helsinki-Vantaa airport and then catching a train or a bus from there to Tampere.<\/p>\n

Since all the Early Stage Researchers are required to participate the Mid-term check meeting on Friday 2.1.2019 at the Clarion Airport Hotel in Helsinki, we strongly recommend to book flights to Helsinki instead of Tampere.<\/p>\n

Traveling from Helsinki airport to Tampere <\/strong><\/p>\n

From Helsinki-Vantaa airport, it takes appr. 1h45min-2h15min to reach Tampere by train or 2h10min-2h35min to reach Tampere by bus.<\/p>\n

Traveling from Tampere to Helsinki<\/strong><\/p>\n
